Busy
The cows are keeping me hopping. There are four calving as I write this near sundown, and it's supposed to snow tonight. Here are a few pictures and a couple of videos.
It's a bad angle and hard to get the scale, but that's actually a hen pheasant. You don't see it often but sometimes they take a notion to sit on a fence wire.
Nope, just 757. I did call her sister 737 Jet though. She's actually got a great cow disposition. Very protective of her calf but not so protective she'll kill me. Which is important.
I bet the cow that gave birth to that grouse was sure surprised!

ReplyDeleteCows are having babies, as are the antelope, and the birds are busy breeding and nesting. Should only be 2-3 more snowstorms!
Delete757 seems like a grouchy sort of cow. Do you call her Boeing?
