In short...

Busy as hell and the going has been hard in a lot of ways.

I'm trying to work with the new blooger interface and it keeps reverting to the old, so if you see a google employee at the riot I'd appreciate it if you'd stomp that motherfiretrucker for me.

Progress on the devil rum front. It's a terribly hard problem and the solution is frightening and involves a lot of work. But it's doable, so there's that. And progress is progress. It's a very good thing.

Be well and embrace the blessings of liberty.

  1. So, in Louisiana for two weeks at 95 degrees or more plus humidity at 110 percent or more, but grandchildren, so all good. Now in North Carolina at 71 degrees to max at 80 maybe, so still all good. Yours looks good too. Keep on truckin'.

    1. Grandchildren have powerful magic!

If I accidentally complain about our heat it's because I've forgotten about real heat and humidity.

80 degrees in North Carolina in June is pretty good magic too!

  2. Yes, Booger inflicted the new interface on me late last month, I found the "No thanks" button and went back to the original. So far it has stuck. Note to software people everywhere, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Knuckleheads.

Isn't it "lovely" that life gets a vote in our everyday affairs. There are days when all you can do is keep on putting one foot in front of the other. For this too shall pass.

    1. I guess everything has to emulate a phone anymore. These young hipsters will be sorry when everything moves to the implanted chip and no one does touch screens anymore.

On the "there are days" days it's a blessing to be able to put one foot in front of the other, though it seldom looks like it at the time.

  3. I checked out the booger interface when they first notified.
Using the original, which they'd already messed up some time ago.
Improvements should only be noticed when something doesn't screw up any more.

    1. You'd think professional developers would roll that way...

I tried but the new interface isn't working right.

Hope I don't have to migrate.
