The problem isn't "those people"
You can't fix or change other people. You can fix or change yourself.
It's ironic and amusing that the two "sides" are sides of the same coin.
Waiting for the government to fix stuff. SMH.
Are you a sovereign or a subject?
Oh really?
Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die.
You've done your part? Great. Do more.
The answers aren't on social media.
What are your core principles?
I didn't ask what are "their" core principles.
Today, spend five minutes doing some little thing to make things better.
Tomorrow go for ten minutes.
All sodium and no chloride will kill you. The reverse is also true.
All rights and freedoms and no responsibility will kill you just as dead.

I'm not surprised that there are no comments so far. Your post makes me ( and likely others ) somewhat ashamed for my/their inaction. An awesome post. Thank you.

No shame here, a bit of anger, but no shame. I'm doing my bit, so are most of the folks who comment here.
ReplyDeleteMost of those I know are doing much in small unheralded ways to make our community and there by our country, a better place.
