Priceless

There is a lot of work involved in ranching. A lot of physical labor, a lot of brain sweat. Sometimes it isn't the most fun or the most exciting occupation. Sometimes it can be discouraging and even vexing.

But for me at least, the glue that holds it all together is a deep and abiding love for what I do, for the things I get to experience every day. No two days are ever the same, and even in the most agonizing times there are priceless moments of majestic wonder and awe.

I am blessed.

    1. She is! Has those big floppy simmental ears and simmental coloration. Might need to make her a herd cow.

    1. Yep! We have a deal. As long as I don't do anything stupid, she won't mash me. Of course she can rescind the deal at any time and without formal notice.

  3. Has Butterbelly checked in, to let you know all the weasels on your ranch are OK?

    1. Thanks Brig. I know a lot of guys and more than a couple of gals who paid for this. Kinda have to keep that in mind else I lean toward monster-jerk. I'm blessed in more ways than I can possibly count.
