Home and it's good to be here

Made it home right at 5 p.m., so that was two days driving 21 hours over 1,418 miles. Total trip was 12 days, six of which were driving days, covering about 4,400 miles.

Toining left at Alba-koi-kee.

It was a great trip and we had a blast, and I'll be describing some of that in the coming days.

This evening it's just good to get home, have my stuff back where it belongs, and be looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.

Poor Nona the Wonder Dog, there was a thunderstorm brewing up when we arrived and she was in a panic. Hope she figures out how to get over that.

I learned a good lesson this time. Briefs rather than boxers. Because gravity and physics.

  1. Happy to read that you and your mother are home safe. Eagerly awaiting post flight brief. Yes, one's own bed is much the best.

  2. Glad to see you have arrived home safe and sound. Very lonely here without the Goog and Nebraska Kid!

    1. Should have heeded the greenie board in the VF-151 ready room on Midway -- "go ugly early."

Thanks Juvat, it was a great trip.
